When was the last time you lent a helping hand? Service is a big part of our religious doctrine. We shall never forget how the Good Shepherd sacrificed his life and paved the path so that we could be saved. At Almond Tree Christian Fellowship, we provide opportunities for our members to serve through various ministries. The power of our community is demonstrated by our desire to serve others. Children's Church
Shaping the Future
Children will be given opportunitites to pair their learning with real-life expereinces in their school, home, and church. They will learn how to apply the knowledge they are obtaining in social situations they are sure to encounter so they are able to Live a Fruitful Life in a world where Christianity is not popular. Students will participate in object talks geared towards comprehension of key lesson elements, team-based activities to practice what they learn, role-play activities to put into action what they learned, and Bible verses to plant God's Word into their hearts. Parents are encouraged to partner with the the teachers to ensure the students are practicing their verses throughout the week in preparation for the next class.
Community Service
Learning to Give Back
The goal of this ministry is to take the Word of God to those who are shut-in and need encouragement. One of Almonds Tree's aspirations in this community is to reach out to those in need.
Matthew 25:36 - 40 (KJV) Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed [thee]? or thirsty, and gave [thee] drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took [thee] in? or naked, and clothed [thee]? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.
Music Ministry
Ushering in His Presence
Our Music Ministry serves the purposes of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encouraging believers in their walk with Christ, leading the congregation in worship and providing an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship experience. The Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through musical expressions.
